    Want to put an RD350 engine on my yamaha FZ-16

    Dear All,
    As mentioned in the topic I want to know that is it possible to put an RD350 engine on my yamaha FZ-16
    If so please guide me as iam very satisfied with the looks of the FZ-16 but the power is dissapointing. And the RD350 is also a yamaha bike....
    Please Guide Me.................

      don't do it.. Bore the engine and put bigger piston is far better option..

            Even if it is possible i think sourcing the engine will be the biggest issue

              As far as I can remember, that was a RD fitted with FZ headlamps, tires etc. and not a FZ with RD engine. But maybe you're talking about something else. I wanna see it anyway.

                    Bad Idea in my opinion. The modern FZ chasis is not designed for a heay weight champion.

                      Its possible one guy in hyderabad has done it on his FZ, very neat work, there is a thread in RDD about that bike.
                      "Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"
