You'll need to apply for an International Driving licence at your local RTO, from where you had made your local Licence.
      Dats it.

Going to Germany for a ride at Autobahn kya?

Are you going there permanently/semi-permanently? I am sure you can simply google for better results. Most of us simply use our IDLs or DLs from other countries. I don't think you should have an issue using your Indian DL for a car rental in germany. I used my USA DL without any issues.

Oh and Motorcycle licenses are almost always more difficult in most countries outside South East Asia. There they consider safety first i.e - how likely are you to cause damage to yourself. Therefore it is harder to get a 2-wheeler license than a 4-wheeler license. Some countries also have different license grades for 2 wheelers based on the power output of the vehicle in question.

        Again...google is your friend

Google for their local RTO/DL authority , info should be available online. if needed shoot them some questions asking about the same.

More over you can contact some travel agencies about it too.

As GS adequately put , "google is your friend"

I used my DL for car rental in sweden. They had no problem with it as it was in english. mine is Hyderabad lic. on a plastic card. Ideally according to my onsite manager, they are valid for one year. I tried getting a rental bike but it was way too costly. e.g., 259kr/per day for car and 8000kr/per week for bike(something like that).

if u r going for an short period of time, i still advice to take a IDP (international driving permit). you can get this from ur local RTO for a small amount of money. but for this, u will need to show them ur visa as well as tickets. the RTO generally gives u the IDP for the duration ur visa is valid for
