petrol leaking from carburetor

  • petrol leaking from carburetor

    i have a pulsar 150 v2, today when i switched on petrol & started my bike i saw petrol leaking from carburetor. i think this is a strange problem. can someone please help me regarding this ?

      Your Carburettor float may be stuck. Shake the bike vigorously and see if the leak stops. Anyway you may have to openup the carburettor float chamber if the leak doesnot stop. Also check the petrol pipe and make sure no damage.

          Shaking the bike vigorously worked for me..petrol have stopped leaking now.thanks buddy.

            If this happens again - gently tap the idle screw with a plastic butt end of a screwdriver or a small block of wood. Stops the leak usually...
