Avenger coil is as same as the P150-200 which is a single phase one and thatz why people have upgraded to avy coil. Else they would;ve to replace the stock RR also. But its a direct snap fit DIY job. Pulsar have 4 light coils and 3 for the battery charging, so while seeing the 3lines u can get confused. 2 blue wires from coil are dedicated to battery charging and the yellow-red line wire is for light coil and red wire is for CDI and obviously black is earth. Am right Abhi?

I dont know about Uni coils, am still a beginer in this. But to my knowledge, only DC bikes may require the 3 phase coil as its demanding more power to compasate the battery drain. But there's an exception for 3 wheelers like Ape and Minidoor which uses 50A batteries and full DC but feds from a single phase alternator but you cant compare with a bikes magneto.
In the Pulsars, it is technically a single light coil wound around 4 poles and a single battery coil wound around 3 poles. About the colour codes, you are correct. So, the Zma has 3 separate coils as per the clarification above?

I can see from your post that you want 60/55W. If possible rewind your coil and go for a Pulsar/Avenger RR Unit. Only if you want HID, should you think of going for a DC setup. In that case, its better to rewind your coil and go for P180UGIV/Zma/P220 RR Unit.

Thanks for dat Info bro.. well I want to workout something cheaply , dats Y i am thinking how to use max power from my battery & use the 35w as DC.

Can you confirm if the pulsar 180UG4 Rectifier unit is a direct fit on to CBZ's if yes then I am gona change that one & go ahead with DC conversion.

My point is that I want to check if Pulsars Rectifier Unit for 2.5A battery can help run 35w DC on my bike..

Here total cost involved is around 800 ( 400 for DC + around 400 for rectifier)

Hi have u solved this? If CBZ's coil is single phase, difnitly u can go in for Pulsar UG4 rectifier will cost around 430/- , It will not be a direct snap on, but you can do it. First identify the wires for the light coil, feed it to the P's RR which is having only 4 wires, 2 blue wires are for the AC in and the other is DC. But you have to re route the lighting source wire to battery from the stock RR out. 35W wont make much issues unless you travel in night more than 1 hr,as the P's RR will feed 3.5 max, which is theoritically morethan enough (10% is the ideal charging current, (250ma) but in this case, you need intensive charging to get the backup from the small batt. since you have 2.5AH batt, duration will be short, but you still have light direcly from the RR, but will not be consistent brightness at idle speed.
