  • Zma On Cbz classic

    Hi Everyone,
Yet I have come up with another thread. I have got A old Zma's Cylinder kit and Cam shaft in somewhat good condition with some edge Sharp edges. I was wondering how should I put it to a good use. Any take on it guys??? Well, before you give your take. Let me give you a summary of the mod's that has been done presently. Well
    1. I have shaved of 0.7mm from the head and gasket assembly as well as polished the inlet of valves and the outlet too and some polishing on the exhaust outlet.
    2. Clutch plates less than 2000kms old.
    3. New clutch wire.
    4. K&N filter
    5. NGK spark plug
    6. Split fire cable
    7. Sprockets with 14/42 Combination
Post these mods My cbz classic does 110kmph with a ease. Can push it even furthur. Havent tested the actual top yet. May probably end up with 120-125 in top.
So Now What should I do to get the maxxed performance and build the fastest street spec outa the karizma's cylinder kit and zma's cam shaft? What do u'll suggest?

          hey max
brother i am also having the same model hh cbz classic.
and jst a two day back i was also thinking of installing
zma engine head an all that u are thinking of installing.
but plz dnt take me otherwise but i got a lovely suggestion
from a pretty well expeirienced person that if u really want
your bike to be with u for a long time plz dnt do this mistake..
it can giv u the satisfaction for some time but for long it will
          be harmful..

u are already done with much of the mods brother...
rest last decision will alwayz be yours .
but that was actually my opinion...

          cheers

            Hmm well...hello again maxx

lemme be a bit diplomatic in this matter... its ur baby we're talking bout... hmm well the piston that u got has to be put in a lathe..very well crafted to a good shape...normaly as ive seen the piston edges are quite square..if not sharp.. show it to a good mech.. moreover ur back to stock carb config froma tuned one... see now if u put in a new piston, its almost like re boring... or its one and the same... for another 500 to 100kms u cant touch speeds.. ur bike wont let too..or u'l simply cease ur engine... don do that.. keep the bike stock for a while...

meanwhile get a good aluminum forged piston made( stock piston standards)... instead of going for a zma one...the forged piston is very hard(strong)..withstands high revs and performance.. like the one yam has adopted on r15... talk to a few good mech...u kno the secret to ur success. ??/ never ever hurry... i kno hw much eager u are to go beyond the 130kmph barrier.. again..don stress ur engine on the other hand...

never try increasing ur cc of the engine by putting some bigger bore....u'll have to discard ur whole engine if things go wrong..do it only if u feel u can handle the expenses.. instead try making what u have ~ a little better..not making what u have into something else........

Neah re bro no worries. I got your idea, But think about this from this perspective that I would have a zma later in january. For all good reason I would stick the zma with stock but when I can get the cbz 2 do power mods, why shouldnt i? Its my experiment bike....So....

if u consider it as your experiment bike. u can do anything....
well in my opinion i will never go for that because i always want her to perform the same forever... as told in the last post by some other
member(sorry i forget the name) also if can handle it well.
and u can really trust somebody that he cannot let your bike down
u can always do such sorts of heavy mods.....

                  thnx
