Stay outside Mumbai - like in Vashi or Nerul. You can easily get a decent accommodation here for 600-800 bucks.

The plan so far

So far this is what I've come up with.

Day 1 [31/12/09]- Kothamangalam [Kerala] to Dona Paula Goa Aprox 820km NH17 all the way.
Day 2 [01/01/10]- Greet the new year while lazing on the sands of Goa

Day 3 [02/01/10] - Goa to anywhere beyond Mumbai? Aprox 600Km still on the NH17

Now this is the part i don't know about, where do i stay at the end of the day? I'm travelling on a shoe string budget and just need a place to spend the night. Any suggestions Any where in or around Mumbai?

Day 4 - To Mt Abu Rajasthan Aprox 790Km Nh8 mostly

Day 5 - Mt Abu to Delhi Aprox 720Km Nh8

What i want to know is are the distances i've planned doable along the roads i've mentioned. Ive Ridden 750+ km in a single day before but those were on the supurb roads of Tamil Nadu and on the North south Corridor [Kanyakumari to Bangalore]

As of yet these are just rough plans and i'm open to suggestions as to routs Places of interest along the way and especially accommodation along the way.

i'd love to hear from any Members who are planning similar routs. The dates are flexible and it would be interesting to meet and ride with other members
