  • [Help]: Free flow exhaust system for my RX 100.

Hell friends , i am a big fan of rx series and owned a RX 100 too,

My question is that silencer of my bike is in moderate condition and i am planning to change it in a month but there is a query in my mind that whether to go for a stock exhaust system or a free flow exhaust system. Please guide me as soon as possible...........................

    Important things -:

Engine work is re-done in april and completed 1500+ km/h.

    Installed a k & n r 1060 free flow air filter.

Currently top speed is 115km/h max.

      one thing more -

I asked the krp (kaulson racing products) people and they told me they have pre manufactured free flow exhausts at the price of Rs 2250/-.

Is it genuine or if there is any other place in delhi pls suggest.

after completing just 1500 km running in you are using K&N ? did you up jet? if not engine overheating and engine damage will be the result. most free flow.s will just increase noise with very less gain in bhp.if not designed properly it will spoil the engine even faster

            stick to the stock exhaust

            upjet with k&n, use a good 2T oil (yamalube,jet-x )

Dude stick to stock exhausts and upjet if you are still running the stock carb settings. You can run a Expansion chamber but AFAIK it's not street legal and is a public nuisance esp if you are a high rev'er.

              and excuse the humour:

              1500+KM/h ? Seriously???

Freeflow is for four strokes,an expansion chamber is what you need...i have used a KRP built chamber on my rx for a few years the results were as expected!! ive lost out on initial torque but got amazing gain in the top end!! the bike almost always pops up when it hits the power band!! at WOT the exaust is just awsome!! but in traffic or with a pillion its a pain because in "my case" its taken away the much needed torque i think i may need to rejet the pilot..hope this helps

Pls dont mind...he had asked a query in 2009...how did you manage to dig it out in 2012 after 2.5yrs to answer...am sure by now he would have souped up the bike and thrown it off...

sorry..couldnt stop myself from responding to this
