  • Teflon coat - RE Machismo , Pune

    Hi ,

I am looking to get the (so called)teflon coating done for my bike to keep it shining. Right now without it the water droplets leave a mark on the chrome.

Does any one know any place where I can get this done ? and what is the expected costs and number of coats done ?

Dhone will charge 600 for 2 coats. I am looking for better deals than this.(For eg. Bajaj charges 450 for 3 coats for the 220)

I have seen Teflon coat-ers in a few petrol tanks of Pune. One was ready to do it in 100-150 bucks on my bike... but I dint go for it, as my personal experience with Teflon coating is not pretty good...!

        My suggestion

Actual teflon coating would cost more than 2k.... and you must do this every 6 months without fail to keep ur bike teflon coated. Even I was crazy about doing the same, but spending more than 4k/yr was not worth. Also doesn't make sense of paying 400 or 600 bucks.... So, decided to go with the wax polish. Its worth using wax polish.
