  • Problems with New karizma

    Hi frnds,
My new karizma has now done 300kms in 3 weeks.
But the gears make a lot of noise while shifting down and its not smooth also.
I am always searching for the neutral .
Why all these problems are occuring.
Some of my frnds say that it will go with first service ,but i am not convinced.

My another querry is about acceleration .When i took the bike to service centre the guys told that it is ser for overacceleration.
And now the pick up is not that good.

I want to know how can i set it for optimum accleleration.

    Plz help me.
    thanks in advance

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Mate i would suggest you go easy with the gearshifts, and check acceleration later. If the engine is bedding in or running in, there there is a possibility of something going wrong. Get the first service done, let the engine run-in, then a number of factors will go in for determining the best acceleration for the bike. Relax right now, and ride her in.

Easy on the bike initially till the first service is over. Things will settle after that. For hard gear shifts, try throttle blipping. Before going to neutral and while shifting down from higher gears, just give a slight throttle and immediately shift. It works amazingly and follow it everytime.

Neutral position is very thin so that it should not fall into neutral when you try shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. In order to put in to neutral, you need a very delicate touch with little throttle blipping. Putting in neutral needs some technique and practice; once you get it, it will be a cakewalk.

Regarding acceleration, mechanics will not touch the tuning when the bike is delivered and the bike is tuned at factory. There will not be anything wrong unless some nut over there at service station had played it with. Everything will be fine after first service and till then go easy on the bike.

Hey Buddy, wait till the first service ... then you will see the difference. You can very well take your bike to service center any time and tell them the problem you are facing. They will correct it.
You may see lot of such minor problems till first service... Keep those things in mind or note it down... When you give it for first service do tell them to correct it....

Its too early to be trying out acceleration. Give some more kms. When I got my ZMA-R six months back, I too was scratching my head over the gear shift. Now after six month, its smooth and still scratching my head wondering if other bikes are as smooth as mine .

+1 to that! The gearbox needs to be bed-in too!

                hey bro..
already each one of here has told.. and same thing i will be repeating also..

see this is a new bike , so go easy with it and wait till the first servicing..
and during your servicing tell all the problems, they will adjust everything..

so dont worry and take it easy...
