  • queries on bike modifications.....

hi..... I own a CT100 and would like to modify some parts..... just simple modifications.......

    1. thinking of changing the stock handlebar to pulsar's...... what's the difference between 150's, 180's and 200's handlebars and which one would suit the bike.....

    2. my bike's speedo's damaged and it doesn't have RPM meter, thinking of putting a pulsar UG's analogue speedo.... can this be done? my bike is CDI.....

    3. and am thinking of raising the rear end of the bike, can this be done by all of the mechanics or only the ones tat have some particular tools?

    4. i need to replace my tires, can i put pulsar's front and rear tyre? without changing the rim? the stock tyres r very thin... and looks like a bicycle tyre when seen from a distance....... or without changing the rims, upto how much size can i fit in.....

    thanks guys.....

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Yes Every Bike can be Modified - as per the Owners Choice and CT100 is not a OUtstander.....

1 - Yes Handlebar chaging is such as easiest Mod and yes Pulsars have many types of Handle bars
The UG1 (Round Healight pulsars) they had a more Comfortable handle
        bars
Then UG2 to UG4 has a bit Lower Handlebars.....They fit your Bike perfectly
P200 and Clipons are too much for your Bike and may look a bit Outwards

2 - yes Pulsars Analogs Speedos are available in Local Market and you can fetch one for you also - im not sure about the RPM Meter - as the connections will cost you more

3 - Raising the Rear End of the bike can be done easily using the following Options
1 - Increase the Rear Wheel Base
2 - Put an After market large Rear Shocks
3 - Else Weld the Rear shocks holder and makt it larger than the Stock one

4 - Im not sure about the size of Tyres that CT100 holds - its better you go to a Tyre shop and get your Answers ther,,,,

Why cant you fetch your hand on to a Self starter?????
