Hello Friends, i wanted to carry out some modifications for my splendo
can i fit a pair of adjustable shock absorbers at the rear and give it a lift? If yes which bikes shocks will fit.

Can i change the handle bar to the old pulsar handle bar ?

What kind of modifications i will have to do if i want to change my front headlights to round ones adn can i add some plastic or metal piece on the tank so it gives the front look like MT 01 or FZ16.

      Hey Dude,
Let's do this one point at a time:
      1. Adjustable Shock Absorbers: Not very sure about this, and I guess not all bike shock-absorbers would fit too. Why don't you get your own shocks modified by some shock-absorber repairer? Should cost you about 150 bucks for about 1-2 inches of extra height. They basically weld pieces of metal to the part where your shock-absorber connects the frame, and then connect the shock-absorber to that part. However, I think I should warn you that if not done right, this could be dangerous; for example, the welded part could break under pressure if you hit a porthole really hard.
      2. Handle-bar: I think this should be an easy mod to do and not too much of a danger as well, except say a bit of lower back-pain coz the seat & footrests are not designed to let you sit in a leaning posture. However, I've seen lots of people do this to their Splendors and Passions. The Pulsar UG3 handle (also called the 'first Digital Pulsar' by shop-keepers ) would be a better choice than the older pulsars. Make sure you only purchase genuine stuff from reputed Bajaj outlets so you don't get cheated.
      3. Changing the front headlight to a round one shouldn't not be very difficult. All you have to do is take off the original headlight, maybe weld a small bracket onto which the round-headlight will be attached (nut-bolt) and then use your original bulb holder with this round headlight. Shouldn't cost you too much and will look good on the bike as well.
      4. Tank extension: Dude, this might not turn out to be a very 'clean mod' since it will require a) finding a suitable part (from some other bike, OR getting one fabricated by someone in the business), & b) welding brackets on your tank to fit this part onto. However, be warned that when you try to weld, you burn paint and stickering on the tank. As far as finding a part goes, man that will be tough. You could try experimenting with the Pulsar 200's or the Apache 160's tank shrouds, but frankly speaking I cannot really say if they will look good or not. Instead of investing time and money in this, why don't you try to get stickers and paint similar to the Splendor NXG? Hero Honda - Splendor NXG | Bharosa bhi, Style bhi That will give your bike a good look I think.
