1.I want to know that is the selling price of 200 bucks for used cylinder - piston assembly is ok or not.Actually this cylinder - piston assembly is of my old activa which recently done its complete engine work.

    2.Now the main thing-

When i go to the market to sell this part of activa i saw a pulsar with round headlamps modified up to the brim.It also have two modified exhausts installed in it out of which both are working and that was sounding like the original ninja which i often seen near my house(some very powerful sound). When i show that exhaust to my very old trusted mechanic (he was himself a bike modifier)he said that oh! that exhaust it just cost 250-400 bucks each(yes my friends you all read it write) and if you want it to get installed it in your unicorn i will do the work in 2 hrs and it overall costs 700 bucks. That mechanic also installed clipons on my unicorn and sometime back he also modify my passion plus.He said that it doesnt cause any harm to your engine but you will have to take extra care of your bike from water and its life is also around 50000 kms.But before installation i want to know from you guys that i heard that modified exhausts starts from at least 2000 bucks .And because of this i really got confused. is there any problem in that exhaust. Please suggest me that is it a good decision to install it on my unicorn which has done 15000 kms and is in fabulous condition. Please reply.(I forgot to mention that, that exhaust is some how looks like fz muffler especially in length..)

3.I have seen many bikes in my city with fz-16 headlamp and two unicorns also and they were looking very cool.Sometime back i also seen some pics of the unicorn with fz headlamp in xbhp forums. Can you guys please send the link and if you know the price please tell me.

To start on your point 2, that exhaust is probably nothing more than a few pieces of pipe welded together to form a straight-through muffler. It's no good, there's more to exhausts then just getting the exhaust gas out as fast as possible. That's why people say these exhausts cost more, because there really is more.

On top of that, adding an open exhaust to any bike without doing the needful, in this case carb upjetting, will kill the engine rather fast. This is because it will then be running lean, causing the engine to heat up a lot.

Oh and don't forget, a sufficiently loud exhaust will make you popular with the cops too.

I have installed the FZ headlight on my uni... had got it done when FZ was just just released and spare parts were hard to come by... so it had costed me a bomb then... around 2K for the headlight + 0.5K fitting charges...

I think the local one costs just one-fourth because i have seen many bikes and i dont think that a passion owner spend 2500 bucks for a headlight.By the way your unicorn looks just ...awesoooooooome.very....very.....neat.great work dude.

dont worry the mechanic is not trying to fool you, its just the lack of knowledge for himself. go for the FZ headlight mod and be content.
