Gosh! dude, post more info. how many kms done? when was the last service? Did u check the tyre pressure?

      Is the bike emitting smoke?

Did u check the sparkplug? or get it checked at the SVC?

Did u follow the running in procedure correctly? ( No over revving and speeding? )

What did the people at the service centre say/respond when you put this up???

For future, try and give as much information as possible with regards to a query, it will be that much easier to answer, to rather just speculate, that maybe the fuel station that you get your fuel filled from is short changing you, by giving you lesser fuel, hence the bad mileage. loL!

I think FZ has the capablity to only return 35KMPL Mileage....
You are 10Less and i believe you should be running in High Mixture....

I've seen few of the FZ's here in Chennai are running on P200 Rear Tyres 110..
Try that to get some mileage - but besides that im not sure Why its returning a very Low Mileage
Its better to change your SV Centre and try

ppl have extracted 55kmpl on roadtrips and on an average 35-40kmpl on normal rides....u should get ur ride checked...
also drving styles matter a lot...Check this http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...0cc-bikes.html as it talks a bit bout the kind of riding style to get better mileage....
sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.

To ride or not to ride?? is a....
          very very stupid question....

I have done 1781 km Approx.

My last service was on 9th November.

My tire pressure is always checked once a week. I fill up the pressure as 28 in the front tire & 33 at the rear.

The bike is not emitting smoke.

No I didn’t check the sparkplug.

Yes I followed the proper running procedure, where as I was not even exceeding 50kmph (While running) But after my running I was speeding at around 60-80 kmph .

Well I have not spoke with the service center ppl as I jus tracked it yesterday.

& I didn’t get u at your last query about the fuel station thing.

            Plz Help,
            Thanks,
            Regards.

LOL... what a comedy, FZ with P200 tyre...

@Topic Starter i have completed my 6(full free services) and 15700kms on board... FZ's mileage is 35-40 is the average... i had once got 58 also and 32 for the least... Before 2-3 services the mileage varies by a big margin, i.e sometimes 42, another time 32 etc. it was not constant, but after 10000kms the mileage is almost stable, only almost in between 35-40... and the main case i don't check mileage that often...

As urs 28kms, i faced the same problem before 3000kms, when the bike reaches 28-30km the bike struggles that the petrol in main is over, so that i put it to reserve for 100-200 meters then change back to main and the bike will run run for almost 5-6kms... i don't why it happens like that, but couple of friend's had the same problem and they did the same way as i suggested...
i.e the bike actually does not come into reserve, but after some kms it is working fine, i suggest u to either check with the SVC, check air pressure, and wait till 2 more services... Good Luck...

Dude i own a FZs too... done the 2nd service so far 2300kms on the clock... Sometimes it depends on the way your bike is tuned at the service centre ... get your bike sparkplug cleaned and get it tuned for mileage.... when the card is tuned for performance its tuned for a more richer mix of fuel!!! get it tuned for mileage!!!

just tell your service centre they should be able to solve it
WHo says you need a woman to feel what a ride is like???... get a bike instead!!! ***Honda Hornet**
