Pulsar 220 dtsi problem
Hi guys my 700kms old p220dtsi is making a strange & rattling sound from the Engine assy. The local mechanic says the sound is coming from the magnet side and has changed the kit starter clutch minus the springs but the sound is still coming. The pick up and performance has not been affected and i have touched 130km/h once. The sound is not coming always but occasionaly & when the bike is taking a turn. The nearest pbk service center is 375kms away. Thanks.Tags: None

Are you sure that he has replaced the starter clutch with proper parts? on my bike it just needed some greesing and the sound was gone. Check the starting gear (big sprocket on magent) also. Try greasing it.

You're bike needs to get its first service done anyways. I'd recommend you to take to the PBK rather than it being touched by local mechanics.Originally posted by babuni View PostHi guys my 700kms old p220dtsi is making a strange & rattling sound from the Engine assy.
