As I see that you reside in Mulund area, could you please suggest me a place to buy this oil?
The work has just started on the external stuff. Oil change will be a later item. So, I can buy the oil and give to Mucchad. I am a frequent visitor of Sarvoday Nagar. Does anyone stock it there?
This oil is not available anywhere in the central suburbs.Since its cost is high shopkeepers dont stock it.You will get the Motul 30004T(mineral) and 300V FL(Fully synthetic) but 7100 is not available.A person working for Motul handed over the 7100 personally to me on sunday.I'l give u his contact, call him and give my reference (Aaron) and tell him to arrange for 3cans of Motul 7100 and keep them with Kushagra Enterprises(sonu),Opp Santoshi Mata Mandir,LBS marg,Mulund west.

Dont hand over the oil to Anna so quick.Ask him when he will need the oil and then tell him to pour it in front of u

@sen2009, interesting deal you got with the mech .
Thought of posting prices of few OE items for a reference, your quoted spare prices seem only marginally different but there are cheap after market parts.

      Air filter- 150, oil filter- 20, timing gasket- 125, accl cable- 65, speedo cable - 90, clutch cable- 140, short bottle silencer- 1250, mirrors- 390, castrol 20w50 3ltrs- 850, brake shoes- 250.

Check the price of rear no. plate, you may get new piece close to ~400. Why are you replacing the air filter box? Straight type crash bar rarely serves its purpose.

You know what the interesting bit here is ? Just making sure he buys OE parts & then all those make it to your bike

This is exactly my point!! God knows how many parts would make it to his bike.Same goes for the oil too.I still suggest u buy OE parts from outside and get the work done in front of u.Nothing like this. You will atleast have peace of mind later!!

No need for expensive synthetic oil in the std/electra 350 engine IMHO , better to save money and use to replace oil frequently in that engine . Motul CNG expert 20w50 , castrol GTX CNG 20w50 , Veedol turbostar 20w50 works nicely . Gulf pride 4T 10w30 , motul 3000 4T plus 10w30 , HeroHonda 4T 10w30 works nicely in the clutch .. in that order .
