  • [Help]: Bike Luggage

I am planning a Rajasthan tour with my two loves, wifey and bike. I have a Mustang tankbag that gives good storage as well as a custom made saddlebag. I need pointers on following points:

    1. Any way I can add fixed luggage points on bike, like fixed saddle bags/fix the current bags firmly somehow? Because carrying whole stuff with us at each stop is seriously boring.

    2. Any way of fitting luggage rack at grab bar? I need to replace the grabbar with something that has long carrier on it, so that I can fix a bag on it. Any pointers where this can be done in Pune?

    3. Can the Saddle bags be fitted somehow that I fix them only for long ride and remove them when not needed?

    4. Any idea where the puncture kit can be stored? Or do i have to give it space in other luggage only?

Need inputs from experienced tourers on this. Pls keep tankbag and cloth saddlebags out of the discussion, as I already have them. Looking for sturdy luggage. Can bullet racks be fitted to GS150R? Where in Pune?

just go to those IRON door making shops and tell them the idea you want to work on,, they will build up a decent carrier which can be easily fitted into your rear grab rails... for e.g you might have observed pizza hut guyz bikes they have abit similar configuration
