    Seat Modification

    I am thinking of widening and adding some foam to the seat of my Fiero. My trousers roll up and get tight after I drive for some time. I see that there are many upholstery shops in J.C Road, Bangalore. But I do not know which one to choose.
    Please recommend someone who can do a neat job.

      In J.C. Road you can go to these shops like "Attractive Interior and Exterior Car Modification", "Bikes Accessories World".

      But in my opinion you don't have to go to J.C. road for this, find any shop which does the same thing. I feel it can be done by any shop and yes they do it professionally. I changed my seat from a shop in hsr layout. and they have done well.

        Try searching for place name archana complex you can find couple of shops over there..........

          Sorry can't help on the modification part. However I'm intrigue by your reason for modifying your seat. How does widening & adding foam helps preventing your trousers from rolling up ? Just curious.

            Thanks guys. I got it done from J.C Road. The car seat uphostery shop was not willing to work on a bike seat. They directed me to a small shop (take first left, small bilane, when you enter J.C Road and then take the second right. There is a small shop above the tea stall at the end of the road). He added some foam and increased the support. It is much more comfortable now.

            The trousers were rolling up as I was sliding forward because of the slope and inadequate support on the seat. The added foam helps to reduce the slope and improve the support.

              You need to put a seat cover of a slightly coarse material, which won't make you slip. I got it done on my Fiero F2 after seeing my friend who has got it done on his CBZ-X.

                Can U type in the address or route to reach them....
                I'm Planning to make my CBZ extreme Seat to two peice same like pulser 220 with back supports for pillion and the rider....
