  • Preventing visor scratches

    hey guys
can you give some ideas to prevent scratches on pulsar 220 visor?
on a whole visor keep shining if u see frm a distance but frm close observations i see lots of scratches....may be cz of small dirt particle which collide with visor while riding...
i used "collin" but no use it works good fr cleaning glasses...not for fibre!!

you could get it laminated using the cell phone lamination sheet. But then how expensive is it to replace every now and then?? the visor of the R15 is like 128 rs, so it really doesnt hurt so much to replace if it gets scratched.

      - KTM Duke 200
      - Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

^^ Yes, you can put those heat rejection films which are used on cars. You can go to any car accessories shop which deal with these films.

There is some plastic polish available, the R15's manual mentioned using that if the visor is scratched-try at some hardware shops.
As jd666 mentioned for our R15, even if that plastic polish costs some 50-60 bucks, by the time we buy it twice or thrice, we can replace the bike's visor itself!
