  • [Help]: To all r15 owners

Hello. This is anurag here. I own a Red r15. I have a doubt.
Since a few days its been so happening that when my bike goes above 110kph mark, theres quite a lot of vibration in the handles. And the the magnitude is so much that even after wearing gloves, i can feel the aftereffects when the bike stops. Can this be a serious problem? or is it just because i missed the second service of my bike. Plus one more problem is that now a days the performance of my machine has decreased. The acceleration has dropped to quite an extent, and its quite noticeable. No grudge or problem against any other bikes, but its dropped to the extent that a HH Hunk with a pillion rider was running faster than my bike. Is this because my air filter is clogged up with dust?

Any help is appreciated.. Thank you.
A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

first and formost go get your bike serviced. well as far as the vibrations of the handle when the bike is stopped well thats new for me.

Well get the handle nuts screwed so that by chance since u have been riding the bike for a long time and with that kind of a speed i think it will be better if uget them checked also.

when you start feeling that your bike performance has gone down or anything like that just get it serviced.

i agree with the man. A bike should be treated like a small tree, care for it, nourish it and it would give you the best results..care for your bike and you will have no problems whatsoever

Handles dont vibrate after the bike has stopped. The vibrations while running are so much, that even after stopping, you hands feel pretty numb and shaken.

            Dude,

Amoung other things suggested by our fellow xbhp'ans, check if the handle-bar vibration dampers ( those two big screw-like things on the either end of the handle bars ) are fine.

Remember, tire pressure too is important for less vibration especially at high speeds.
