    can I fit 170 tyre on Comet?

    can i fit a 170 or higher section tyre in my comet...??need some advice ppl...

        well, with a little bit of adjustment and a little bit of hammer and chisel work, yes you can fit one in your bike, but the question that arises here is ... what's the idea??

        A fatter tire is like stalking your bike with extra load. Believe me a slightly up size is ok at times but 170..... aint it a tad too much?

        If possible keep your bike as close to stock so as not to hamper the performance of Reliability but if its for sheer weekend ride for 15 kms, plonk in as fat tyre as you can!
