    There's no point in putting that small fan. A moving bike has 10 times more airflow at the radiator junction. If you are not getting Engine Overheat Warning, then it could just be a psychological effect.

    Try adjusting the AFR anyways.

      If the bike is intended to make long non-stop /timed rides like Saddle sore(1600 KM), Bun burner (2500 KM) there is a second option. you can fit one more P 220 oil cooler & connect the oil pipes in SERIES. so the stock oil cooler cools the oil to some extent, and the oil enters second one which is connected in series makes the oil more cooler before entering back to the engine. IMO this is the best mod. don't mess with Fans or thermostats. its far more complicated then we think.

        I was just thinking the same a few days ago!
        connecting the two in series / fitting a bigger one

        I hope the cooling system works on Convection principle and not on oil pump?
        want to confirm

          Cooling system works on Forced Lubrication, and is pumped. But adding another "Oil Cooler" shouldn't be a problem. But we should rememeb that "mother knows best" ie: Bajaj, knows that tiny oil cooler is more than enough, and adding more area may or may not have any affect on cooling.

          For bajaj, adding to more layers for cooling wouldn't had cost a bomb.

            And where does this extra oil cooler go?

            The amount of cooling provided be the oil cooler is minimal to say the least. Adding an extra oil cooler will only block more air flow towards the engine and cause further heating.

            @Threadstarter: Don't worry about the heating. Its normal! The bike can take more abuse than you can imagine! Trust me I would know....

              No intentions of fitting xtra cooler
              was just a random thought after a 90km ride constant 100+
              engine is Bound to get hot and i don't bother for it Unless the indicator on console blinks....

              Only if 1 day i want to do a Bun-burner and think the stock will take care of that too

                I don't know about bun burner never attempted anything like that! But my bike has been thrashed quite a bit like have done 1005 kms in 14 hours and about 180kms of almost non-stop laps around the Chennai track...and there was NO drop in performance or any other issue with the bike.
