        1) The DOs and DONTs.

        Do ride...Don't crash
Make sure you have a driving license and a helmet

        2) The speed & precautions during Run In

Ride it normally...our traffic ensures we follow the run-in procedures whether we like it or not. On the EEHighway just make sure you stop every 15 minutes to let the bike cool down. This is during the initial 200kms. After that you can pretty much ride it however you want...Don't hold it at 7-8k rpm for extended periods of time...thats all.

        3) Any coating or Anything to be put on the bike to maintain the shine?

Buy a bike cover and keep the bike covered at all times when not in use. Otherwise just a regular water wash with a automotive shampoo should be enough. For a good shine - use Waxpol (find the original stuff...)

        4) I need contact details for biking gear( branded and non-branded) around Thane(mumbai)

Good reason to ride to Pune (PlanetDSG on MG Road) and ride back with new gear. Ditch the old (and I am assuming...CRAP) helmet there itself

        5) And any more things that i need to be aware of to take care of my baby

Keep it safe...loads of instances of bike theft in Thane...

                1) The DOs and DONTs.
                Do's
a)While taking the deliviry inspect your bike for any damages. If any doubts pop outs in your head dont hesitate to ask the salesman. Eat his brain if needed.
                b) Since you are new, familarize yourself with the bike. She is your new mate spend your first night with her properly.....lol
                c) Fill up the best quality fuel available in your city.
d)Keep your bike in the safest place possible. Great if she is with in your sight. Many onlookers just come by your bike and do all stupid things which can harm your mate. Some people envy and could do harm.Be carefull
e)Find a good helmet which suits you and your bike
                Donts
a)Since you are new to your bike never try go to rough on handling. You are not familiar and will take time to adjust to the twists and turns of your bike. You need to understand your bike well.
b)A big NO to stunts. She is a virgin and be soft and gentle to her.
c)Keep off the potholes as far as possible
d)Never fill the roadside petrol in case of emergency
                e)keep off unnecessary short rides.
                f)Keep away rain
                2) The speed & precautions during Run In
a)avoid high revs. A max of 6 rpm in each gear. Keep your max speed between 60-70.Its because the piston is new and will get time adjusting. But rev it hard 1nce or twice so that you dont lag behind in initial pull. After it finishes her run-in you can rev her to the glory and feel the wild side of your mate
b)ride it the most smoothest manner possible. Proper Gear Shifting.

                3) Any coating or Anything to be put on the bike to maintain the shine?
Teflon will do. You can get wayol polish and shine her when ever you want
                4) I need contact details for biking gear( branded and non-branded) around Thane(mumbai)
You will get plenty of them on the internet. Look for our desi DSG
                5) And any more things that i need to be aware of to take care of my baby

                Good Luck

every 250kms of intervals you need to rev it hard so that your bike dont lag behind in pulling(intial pick up) afterwards
