They are available for Activa size and then for 18" tyres. No 17" tuff up tubes available.

Cannot fit that tube to a 17" tyre. Tried all nakra's for my brother's RTR and finally settled for a regular tyre with Tuff-up tube at the back.

hmmm... I am wondering how that guy managed this act. Ask him for his invoice that shows he got the tubeless 100x80 Vertigo Sport tyres, cake a copy (or a photo from ur Mobile) and email to Ceat guys.

      @ Hydbiker

Well, the guy did gave an invoice, and damn, his writing cant be understood, he writes like doctors do.. tried much and checked no tubeless written, though the fitting is tubeless, can be clearly seen from the valve, in the pic the valve's hidden by that saree guard partially...

well, am planning to mail it to ceat, but i certainly want to remain anonymus, to be honest, i dont wanna fall in any legal crap for the time being..

^^^ see a copy of his purchase invoice. He told you that he got that stock as "tubeless" from the company.

or you can email the company that you were sold a 100/90 x 18 tubeless ceat vertigo sport and you want to confirm if the company makes a tubeless in that spec.

why dont u try the irc ones....u get front and back tubeless and the size is the same what the tvs gives.well its a bit costly than the one u have but far reliable than the ceat ones.

I beg to differ here.. I have a 120/80 Ceat vertigo Sports TL as tubed tyre in my bike.. 14k done of hard riding not even a single puncture.. Infact this tyre is much more resistant to puncture due to the button type pattern..

The same day I installed this tyre;s a glass piereced through button but not a single issue till now..

                @ TS

you dont have to worry this much. Just put tube to both front & rear & keep running this tyre is amazing & a wonderful dual purpose tyre.. from my experience of 14k

I already changed the tyres before starting the topic. I dont think replacement is possible, but on the other hand, am happy with these except for getting cheated case.

                  @ abhilashabhi12

Thanx bro , am gonna put tube in rear one as i get time (got examinations on head, so didnt got time ).

                    UPDATE :

Finally got tube added to the rear, wasn;t able to find tuff up tube, instead had to put the CEAT's tube ( From a different shop though )

Had a bit of problem with the wheel as well.. the bike used to swing a lot or go out of balance on a slight of uneven surfaces, while changing the tubes, mechanic told me something about wheels weren't fitted properly.. (seriously no idea if that can happen, but then.. all that dis-balancing swings are gone now and am satisfied now.. )

Even the mechanic was shocked of what the guy did with those tyres, he had a bet with me on that there's a tube inside (after seeing the valve.. though i won, lol.. there was no tube there.. )

                    @ HydBiker

This is the valve that i was talking about ( The one he put to do this act)

Guys, am facing another problem now, since it appeared after replacement of tyres, am posting in same thread..

Whenevr my bike goes on any different type of part on road, like say those white stripes or those yellow stripes on road, it seems like the rear wheel kinda swings.. is this coz of the new tyre or problem's something else?
apart from those stripes it happens as well when we shift to newly made roads from old one.. sideways.. ( the parts where half of road is newly made..)

That is normal .. you don't have to worry about that... it happens with all the tyres since yours is a button type pattern you would feel it more..

                          yeah

yeah I had the sammmmeeee problem with the ceat vertigo sport tyre... although I had it even more since I put the ceat secura sport for front tyre as well( its a button type tyre) and I didn't know that for normal city riding front tyre should not be button type... but yeah its pretty normal yet scary as hell.... I switched my tyres to non button tyres and increased the width of my rear tyre and it handles really well now... now i have a Michelin sirac street at the rear and a MRF zapper fs in front... that cured the problem real quick....

If you really are having trouble with it... I suggest you can go for stickier ( ie softer compound) tyres. They will get worn faster but they provide better grip...

well, the tyres are becoming pain now, they arent offering good grips even in slightest of sandy road.. stock tyres were better...
i was wondering if i can actually exchange these tyres for other pattern tyre from CEAT..

@ freakout: Dude, I have the same CEAT tyre with a different size (100/90 x 17) and its tubeless now. I got it for 1000 bucks. Some points:-->

                              1. Tubeless tyres have TUBELESS written on it clearly, even CEAT brand.

                              2. This tyre will not give you much corner grip, because at corners the contact patch decreases.
Straight line grip is good over roads, and mud/ rain too.

                              3. This tyre might not last the same life as your Stock TVS-Srichakra's did. Mine feels a bit wornout in 3000 kms already.

Overall, I made the same fault as I was in the same situation (hurry). I faced the following problems when making the rear a tubeless tyre:-->

                              1. Wheel alignment had to be done. It was swinging before that like you are saying.

                              2. I thought there was a puncture. Later found out that the tyre valve was itself not fitted correctly.
This leak was discovered in 3 days, when tyre pressure decreased marginally.

This info might be helpful. Approach a wheel alignment guy, and ask him if Alignment seems necessary. I suggest you get a puncture repair kit, instead of tubing it up. It's economical and you can do it yourself ... I got it too...
And from now onwards, get any bike's Stock tyres, be it karizma's 18", unicorn's or any other...

PS: When you got a 100/90 x 18 why did that dealer write 100/90 x 17? You should have objected immediately?

I'll post a thread soon, on this entire tubeless conversion. I'm sure it would be helpful unless there's one already posted. (inform me if its already posted guys)

@Freakout4321 : Just chill dude.. This tyre initially provides a bit lesser grip since the initial contact patch is very less(only the center blocks touches the ground).. Once you put some kms.. It becomes more stable.. I didnt face much of an issue, since my initial 2-3K kms were pure highway highspeed riding, still I had issues when braking.. If you are a city rider, do a burnout and get that initial worn out done
