  • Installing an HID lamp

How can I install an HID lamp onto a motorcycle that uses AC power for most of its electricals (except for the horn and indicators) ???

Will I need a separate switch that completely bypasses the AC circuit or can I use the existing switchgear?

Right now, the HID flickers when the lights are switched on and engine is running. It does not switch on if the engine is off, that's why i am guessing I will need a separate switch.
Who needs more than 70 bhp when you don't need to slow down for the corners?

      Problem Resolved

Just a wire switch was needed. Now everything is on DC. There was no need for a separate switch.

      BTW, HID's rock!!!
