My P 220 not going beyond 125!!!!!! Help

    Since the front tire is 100/17, there should be some negative speedo reading. that explains at least the lesser top speed.
    but redline in 4th gear at 110?? isn't that too less??

      Ok finally as usual 220 with its normal habits surprised me again. yesterday while going back home revved the bike and was really happy to see 131 on the speedo i did not do anything but now sometimes while riding the bike gives hickups!!!!!

        Have got the speed checked on a GPS or just your console. may be your meter console is showing a bit less value, and there is nothing wrong with the bike.

          hmm..do you always tank up at the same place? the quality of petrol makes quite a difference. Hickups? Sorry, didn't get you

            i understand the hiccups..and this thing has really bothered me and a friend of mine who owns a dtsfi, done 23k on it...we haven't been able to figure out the prob as yet..might be cheap quality ecu installed on the bike..

              @ HIFISHARU- i don't doubt the fact that gearboxes last 1 lac kms, but due to regular wear and tear, the power transmission keeps on taking a blow..
