Abhi, my charging rate is still around 8A, its OK so far.

^^ And many people do use 100/90W or 60/55W bulb without relays! It is not recommended. I have it done directly to the battery. And that is how, it is set originally in the bike.

I accept that point, even I was using 90/100 for few months, but its AC, so the current is not stable from the alt. The same way I executed here, switch is just feeding the batt charging (to avoid discharging when the bike is off, its ur tip only Abhi) and output is not consistent too. Other main loads are from the batt directly. But its better to avoid.

I know! I learnt some things since then! And the batt does not discharge - the diodes inside the RR unit rectifier prevents that.

Better to use a single 100/90 than 2 60/55 lights. About the relay, you can ask in car shops for h/l relay.

Dude, I cant use the spots, people will kill me then, I just use it for flashing for some idiot reckless drivers to remind them, that we also've enough amos here. Other times, when the roads are empty, I enjoy the floodlight ride, with all the lights, but rarely gets any chance on highways, used to try on my way to home, by roads.

For relays, do what Abhi suggested, u can get it from automobile spare shops, go for sealed ones, so that it will be safe from dust and water getting in. And when u get the spots, do not use the Autopal spots as fucus is too sharp litterally spot, not good for driving, go for car fogs will give u good spread near your bike and will do good for flashing too. Am disappointed of my spots as its not giving any spread on roads instead I can see two spots on the road.

Killrider, u need to rewind the coil and swap the RR to use a 55/60 or higher halo. For HID, RR swap will be enough.

                            some update from my side

today i gave the coil for rewinding at a motor repair shop, the guy was at first told that he is not used to do all car and bike stuff but as i told him the details he really got interested!he was so happy that when i told him to use 19 gauge wire ,pattern of winding, approx length and weight of the wire.he added sir u know everything, now i have no prob and i will do it for u,no worries ,will get the coil tomorrow.
after that i went to the ape dealer in my town.today there was a ceremony of a new 4 wheeled ape truck.i went there, said hi to them and asked for ape s rr unit.after that they told they can provide that tomorrow,.the warmth of welcome of that ape showroom was very nice,.me and my friend was offered cofee.wish every 2 wheeler showroom in this country was like these !!!

ps.i was usin 55/50 bulb without any relay with avenger coil before for 4 months,i didnt used any relays, now if i use the same bulb do i need relays after the dc mod?of course if i want to use 90/100 lamp i definatly have to use relays...,i know that.

^ That is a nice experience. Yeah, you must use the relay because otherwise the ignition switch will have to take h/l power too which is an extra 35, 60 or 100W. It is not too expensive - 200-400 bucks.

Good start Dr.V., but I would recommend an auto electrician, so that he'll be more experienced than ur electrician.

We dont want any free coffee or any other common amenities, rather I would ask for a experienced service personnel to do the jobs. Today almost every SC, works will be distributed among the senior mechs and that will be executed by the fresh guys, resulting damaging the bikes, repeating the complaints and the end beneficiary will be ofcourse, the SC, training at our cost. I had many bitter experiences so now I get the service from a trusted mech who was a part of the Bajaj for more than 7 years.

++ do what Abhi said and mind one morething, playing with 90/100W on stock reflectors will be pain for u as there is a risk of melting reflector, I've changed 3 times in 6 months
