  • Oil filter change?

Okay I might be posting this in the wrong section or it may have been asked already. If so sorry for that... been searching the forums for a while and couldn't find it so I'm asking. I have a Bajaj Pulsar 180 UG3 and I want to perform an oil change myself. Now I found the method to do this all over the web and it seems simple enough.... The question I have is should I/can I also change the oil filter myself? Does the Pulsar 180UG3 even have an oil fitler? Guess by these questions you can deduce I am pretty new at this... Generally just give the bike to the service guys... but recently found out that power 1 castrol oil is actually not right for the pulsar and so want to do my own oil change because who know if they will put the proper Oil I give them. So yeah to state again, does the Bajaj Pulsar 180 UG3 have an oil filter... if so is it necessary to replace it while changing the oil... and if so can I do that myself? and if so can someone tell me how to do that or guide me to a guide to do that for dummies( relatively new at bike maintainance)... Thanks in advance.

i think every bike has an oil filter in the crank case..correct me if i'm wrong..u can't change it yourself unless you have a full kit of spanners and T wrenches..anyways don't worry about cleaning it..just change oil at regular intervals and it would stay clean
If U haven't Seen GOD, U haven't gone fast enough

The P150DTSi does not have an oil filter as such. It has an 'oil strainer' which is located inside the clutch cover (right side). It can be cleaned and must be done every 10,000kms according to the manual. I guess even the P180 comes with the oil strainer.
