  • Bike Acceleration Dropping

I own a HH Hunk,it's 2 yrs old & completed 8500 km. now the acceleration is drastically dropping. the pick up is bad as a 100 cc bike& whenever tried to put effort to get the acceleration, the bike gives no response & engine creating too much noise. cleaning air filter is not working... it gives me 45 kmpl mileage,it should give me some good acceleration with this kind of mileage since the mileage is not so high(i think so). So what would be the probable problem.
    Please give some help Xbhpians....

@sunny - one sad smiley is enough for us to understand that you are sad enough with the performance of your bike.

Have you done the regular stuff?? service? tyre pressure? chain tension? carburettor clean? timing chain check? Clutch check? spark plug? air filter? etc etc etc???

For more information read your owner's book for service, what all is inspected and replaced etc.

Thanks for your valuable reply. As per your suggestion i need to check carburettor clean, timing chain check,Clutch check, spark plug.in our nearest HH servicing center usually don't check that things,if not mentioned by the customer. So i have to mention this thing for checking.
Today i faced a new problem, when disc brake is applied at full just before the stop some scratching noise is coming from the disc, but if it applied slowly no noise is coming.
i just changed my disc pad 1 week back......
          what would be the problem......?

            yeah happens...

yeah even i had this problem with new disc pads... at first some people said the disc plate was bent... then they said the rim was bent... at the end of the day... and after spending lot of money on new plate and rim... there was no problem with either my old plate or my old rim... it just happens with new pads and takes some time for the pads to set in and wear out a bit... but just to be safe get these things checked... check for trueness of the rim and lay your disk plate on a flat surface and see if it lies flush against the surface or if it is bent? if these are ok i would take the wait and see approach and see if it still makes the sound after a week or two...

After all hassle, problem solved by servicing.....
                  done in servicing:
1)oil filter cleaned.it looks pretty dirty.
                  2)engine oil changed.poured power1 900ml which has the 10W30 gradation.had confused between Active Xtra & Power1 both has the same gradation(recommended for Hunk).but atlast chose power1.
                  3)clutch plate cleaned & adjusted.
                  4)carburetor cleaned.
                  5)adjusted tuning

After all these tings done, now the performance is awesome.during adjusting the clutch plate, the washer behind the clutch plate rod was not properly set,as a result engine produces huge knocking sound while starting.but later the washer was changed & given a low width washer.the problem seemed gone after changing the washer.but now i am feeling that at 80kmph the sound coming back but at mild noise. consult the mechanic, he told me to ride it atleast 150km,then it will be adjusted.he explained me as bcoz the setting was changed after opening the clutch plate, produces that noise but it will adjust again.
So i am pretty confused regarding the explanation.before the servicing the washer is good,& now after the servicing noise is coming for washer.
                  Is it Right.
                  Need some Help Xbhpians.......
