    helo guys am up to share my problem wid u so that you ppl may give nice advices .
    my comet is not goin across 9000rpm while riding...what is the cause?
    i hav cleaned the carbs, spark plugs ...plz help me guys i need more rpm atleast upto the red line which starts from 11 k to 13 k

      get the air filter changed or cleaned n lastly it can be the tuning and the redline is 11K

        i would recommend a regular service first.
        it can be the tappet clearance, camchain tension, bad fuel, carbon deposits in the exhaust ports...

        if all that is in order, i am quite sure 97 octane will help.

            if u have a lot of tappet noise then u have to get that done, which i doubt is possible in orissa. maybe it's ur cluthplates.

            how many kms has the bike done till now ? ya n try 97 octane once see if it helps

              clutchplate also changed n da new 1 had run 3000kms ....how much will da clutch plate run?

                is it not going past 9K in all gears ?? n do u feel like it's hitting the revlimmter ??

                    if u feel like ur hitting the revlimit at 9K at all gears i'm positive thats it's the CDI
                    try and exchange some other comets CDI once and see
                    and dude trust me dont push it in this condition much otherwise ur CDI will conk off

                        taking a pic of the cdi wont help u swap it with a fellow comet owner n see, cause my CDi gave up once during warranty and i had got a replacement it bloody costs 7K then now 1stly i doubt u'll get it 2ndly i doubt it will be lesser than 10K + how many days will it take to come
