  • headlight on = all indicator on.!

Yeah i know it sounds weird.

But thats what exactly happening in my bike. pulsar 180.

When i switch on the headlights ... all 4 of my indicators light up instead of the headlights.

they dont blink. Just light up.

Its not a permanent thing and keeps coming and going. sometimes its there and sometimes not.

I figure its earthing wire for the indicators getting shorted somehow.
got it checked my a mech and he says the wiring is A okay.

    well its not..

is there any DIY way that i can look into the wiring system. i opened up the dome but then coudnt find anything wrong, as in loose contacts or a open end.

    any suggestions ?

If the indicators are not blinking its the flasher gone kaput, replace it ..

          indicators work fine.

Just that when the headlight is switched on . The headlight dosent get on. Instead all the four indicators come on and remain on without the blinking until i turn the headlight switch off.

Little OT: I heard you got a new engine?
Which? Could that be in some way related to this?

probably its a short in the switch cluster.

check if any wires are getting pinched in the switch cluster or the dome. also check if the rubber sheaths over the connectors are in place and not slid back.

well not a new engine Tanay. just a new piston and valves .
and I dont think its related, i mean engine work and wiring not really the same dish but mainly cuz it was there before the bike was given for the engine work.

once again Check your wiring closely , Remove insulation tapes if any and inspect those areas where your coupler is connected to the socket

Did you have the same problem when you press the pass switch
