  • Please Help Me To Choose a Clip-on Hndle bar For Pulsar 200

    Hi,
I bought my red p200 on last month. i am pretty happy with it
I want to put Clip-on handle bar for my pulsar. What are the good Clip-on that will direct fit to Pulsar 200? Will TVS Apache 150 Clip-on will fit to it?

Please note i am from Sri Lanka and sadly, there is no P220 in here yet. so do the P220 Clip-on handlebars

Dude, I personally perfer the handlebar of the 200. If you want to fit clip ons then your choices are very limited. You can go for the Apache ones, but you will have to change your T plate and bore it accordingly for the larger 200 forks.

Apart from that, you have after market ones, which are not very reliable as they tend to brake under the slightest of pressure.

Is the Zma zmr available in Sri Lanka? If so, then try the Zma ones.

Ok, please bear with me because I am very bad at explaining stuff.

The clip on handle bars are directly mounted over the upper T plate.

The T plate is the thing on which your front shock absorbers are mounted. Now in order to put the RTR clip ons on your 200 you will need to change your upper T plate on which the Clip ons are mounted. As the RTR comes with slightly thin shock absorbers compared to the P 200 the shock absorbers of the 200 will not directly fit on to the RTR Upper t plate. So you will have to make the sock absorber mountings in the T plate a tad wider.

In short you will need a really good mech to do the Job.

                Oops.
I think this is kind a advanced thing
Better stick to the stock handlebars. also ZMA isn't available here yet. i think Sri lankan Bajaj dealers (DPMCO) still has 200 stocks. thats why still they didn't import the 220 model yet

Anyway, is there anyway to import a pulsar 220 Clip-on handlebar?
                ex:- ebay.com

you can get it through Bajaj itself I suppose. However even the 220 ones wont fit without changing the whole front end.
