  • Help Needed: Mechanic for Karizma & Rear Tyre

After riding my bike safely for close to 2 years, i had a minor fall and since it is a karizma, the damage was on the higher side. This minor fall coupled with some very bad servicing led to a very bad condition of my bike. The handle wobbles badly if i take my hands off and front tyre also wobbles when the front brake is applied. The condition was further aggravated with my failed attemt to intall split handle bar. I had to re-install the stock handle bar to regain some lost bike riding confidence.

After burning my fingers badly by giving bike for service in Castrol Bike Zone, i am on the look-out for a good mechanic in Pune. I need to get my bike repaired for removal of wobbling and then possibly look at installing K&N filter with appropriate upjetting.

I stay in Kalyani Nagar and hence any mechanic with in a vicinity of 5 km should be ok for me. I was suggested to visit a mechanic in Kothrud but the sheer distance from where i currently stay has postponed the repair for the past 2-3 months.

I know its always good to visit a authorized HH service centre but these guys never deviate from what is stated in their service manual. They simply are not interested in answering your queries regarding bike dynamics. So i am looking to avoid but if there is someone who can help me, i would surely look no beyond than authorized guys to tame this machine.

Also i am looking to change the rear tyre. When i have searched the multiple threads already available, i have finalized to try out Duro tyres. Hence a place where i can find these also would be higly appreciated.

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
