    Need Urgent help from Mumbai Pune commuters riders

    I am going to Rajasthan on bike this weekend (travelling by train, and then loading bike off and riding). I bought clutch and accelerator cables required for the bike, but while servicing the bike, I put them aside, and like a fool, forgot to bring them with me in Mumbai!

    Now the situation is, I have 6.50pm train to catch tomorrow from Mumbai Central, and the cables are in Pune. If anyone is travelling from Pune to Mumbai today or by tomorrow afternoon and willing to help, please reply here so that I can contact the Pune guys immediately and deliver the cables to your place.

    Else, I'll have to ship the cables by courier, and since it involves timing, I want to avoid it if possible.

    There are 3 cables in total, they will be in a plastic bag and hardly weigh 250gm/500gm.

    Please help a fellow rider!

          Just one BIG problem, I am riding to Mumbai for sure tomorrow man, but I would be reaching Mumbai/Panvel only by 7.30.....am already carrying some stuff for another mumbai xBHPian

          I would suggest ping Vichare courier or Neeta Volvo guys,... they have a lot of shuttles and do such stuff, but you will need someone in pune to give it to them!

            Isn't it more convenient to just buy a fresh set of clutch and throttle cables from the local dealer/service station wherever you are located? Average rates should be around 50-70 bucks, depending on the bike, right?

            Courier will end up costing that much anyway.

              There are total 3 cables, one clutch and two different for accelerators, each costing around 100. So total price is something 300-350. Courier costs 50 bucks intercity, but i have very limited time.

              Anyway, I am mostly choosing the risk of getting it by courier. Wish me luck!

                I will be visiting Rajisthan too...in this coming weekend.I plan to visit
                Mount Abu- Jodhpur-Ajmer-Udaipur in 4 days.

                    Well my bike's odo is 13K rite now.
                    Total Kms would be around 2500-3000.Approx..Lets see how much it will be in real.

                      Hope you get the cables by courier! And good luck for your trip to Rajasthan - it is a beautiful place, truly India in all its glory. I will be passing Rajasthan sometime next month
