  • Unicorn Speedo

Finally installed the fz headlight on my unicorn... changed the handle to fz too as my mech suggested.. must say the ride quality + handling is much better nd sportier! .. now the last thing on my mind is a digital speedometer.. The fz one is installable (total cost approx 3k) but was wondering is anyone has used any custom made speedos on thier bikes... like the 1 on the KTM 990 This is how the bike looks now..

i dunno much about custom some googling and u may find it i suppose........ but when it comes to fz digi speedo i thing you nedd to change your front alloys to a 17" coz the fz speedo is designed to caliculate the speed and rev range according to a 17" ....... if u dont wish to go with any such modifications then go with some speedo wich is on an 18" wheel !!

Can you share the break-up costs involved for the mounting clamp and the projector set?

How did ya manage to install the FZ's handlebar? Doesn't it hit the tank while turning? Could post some clear pics of it?

The FZ headlamp is 750-770 odd, with bulbs. Side panels are some 150 bucks each. and indicators are extra ~ 100 bucks each.

I dont knw the price of each part.. but the total cost was 2100 including the brackets+ headlight... tht includes the welding charges etc No mods were required to fir the handlebar ... it did touch the tank but the mech reduced the turning radius a lil .. nothing major theres no speedo currenty.. i lost my headlight and speedo in a accident a few months back.. Btw.. i went looking for some speedometers in the market today.. found these chinese made ones .. didnt realy like the design.. nd they dont look that good either.. I'l post more pictures soon

Pic attached dude. Bajaj XCD meter. small and compact. Gives display on petrol, battery and side indicators. cost around 1100 buck. i guess that should suffice.

Unicorn has 18" wheel so it is not a direct fit. Meter has to be calibrated to 18".
AFAIK only GS150R and ZMR has 18" wheels with Digi-Meter !!
