  • [Help]: Pulsar with Monoshock & Wide swing arm

    Hi buddies!!

I own a pulsar for past 2 years, which is 2000-2001 model, well I bought secondhand and its bit modified with wide tyres(rear) & headlamp.

Now let me tell what I'm exactly looking for!!!!

    First : Swing Frame
I have changed the swing arm to the latest model pulsar to get max clearance between tyre and chain, to avoid the rubbing of chain. Still the I m facing the same prob ....Can anyone suggest a better idea to get rid of this issue???? if replacing with other model, let me knw which will suit for pulsar!!!!

    second: Monoshock
I'm Planning to change the suspension with monoshocks, so give me better idea/suggestions and things to be taken care for proceeding with the same.

    Cheers!!!!!!!
    Raj

Get the Pulsar UG4's swingarm, Chain sprocket assembly, brake rod and other small parts on the old pulsar. I have done it and am running a 120/17 tyre without any probs. The 130 should fit my bike without any alteration but i feel a 130 tyre is an overkill for a Pulsar. Go to a good competent mech and get the job done. The things im mentioned should not cost more than 3k with labour. Good luck and ya please stay away from monoshock setups, had done that and came back to stock few months later.
