you could do a mod, and fit a cigarette lighter socket on your bike.. just put a fuse inline... you could use it for various purposes.

Yes it comes with inbuilt mobile charger..

one can easily be constructed with less than 100 bucks using a IC 7805, 2 capacitors, a diode and a resistor.
A bypass transistor can be used for higher currents.

You will get one within 100-150 bucks at local bike parts shop. Please be aware of the installation do put a button for disconnecting it as it empties the battery within no time if not properly installed. They do put some fuse like thing to break the circuit. On my first installation it was not put so battery went empty while in transport. Second time the fuse like thing was installed ensuring it didnt discharge the battery.

The one i had installed looked exactly like the blackcat one though there was no end multiple connector had to buy it separate

Hi all.
I bought the mobile phone charger from Hardeep automobiles chennai.
Brand Name: Aim India ^TM
It has five charging points with a power on - off switch.
Comes with a price tag of Rs.150
Got fitted by the shopkeeper when i fitted my HID into it.
It is not connected to the ignition system. A separate line taken from the battery and the power is controlled by on/off switch. Therefore works even without keys.
But the on / off switch is fitted inside my right faring and hence it is not easy to operate by the stranger and also protects from rain.

I have using it since december 2012 and did'nt have any problems into it.
It takes the same time to charge my phone as my stock charger did.
I didn't have any battery draining problems till now.

Disclaimer:
universal charger or the chargers designed for the motorbike will produce different power than the stock charger which leads to ruin the phone batteries life. If it used for the emergency purpose then not a issue, otherwise the phone battery will become big and will not fit into the phone panel itself :P. But a good alternative being the cigarette charging port attached to the bike battery.
we can able to connect the datacable to the holder and the holder will be connected to the cigarette socket. It is safe and also u can connect various devices with that cigarette socket. But it involves attaching the clamps and welding.
