Flushing out engine oil

if u really wanna do it.. disconnect both spark plug leads to the spark plugs in the engine and crank your bike for a few seconds using the starter motor. But few seconds only.. THis will cause the oil pump to turn, and the oil in the oil guides will come out into the sump.. But thats an extreme method to remove all oil. be careful.

This may be stupid or even dangerous, so see what other people think, before doing it.
Drain your oil, put the drain nut back in, fill petrol through oil filler hole, let it stand for some time, drain the the petrol, fill your new oil.
You can't use this pertol in your bike, but you can use it for other cleaning purposes. Don't kill me please, if this is a stupid idea. It just appeared as a lightbulb next to my head.

no not at all
dont use petrol for cleaning,if u do so u will harm the engine and valves, rings.
use engine flush fluid if at all necessary!!
best is just run the bike warm-stop then engine-main stand-drain overnight-close it-pour 20w 40 bike engine oil-enjoy

There's no need to leave the drain hole open overnight. Assuming you open it when the engine's hot, the oil's viscosity would have reduced and will flow out easily. As the oil cools, it becomes thicker and its flow reduces. At best you will only see a few drops falling out. Whatever oil can flow out will have flowed out in the first 10 minutes or so.
Engine flushing with special engine flushing oils or any other solvent like petrol, diesel, etc. is not recommended for engines that don't have any problems of oil burning or excessive sludge deposits.
If your engine is in good condition, just change the oil draining out the old when hot. Don't forget to change the oil filter. Don't forget the oil pickup screen/mesh. This needs to be cleaned once every 3 or 4 oil changes and usually requires opening the clutch side engine case.

PhewOriginally posted by soumen.sam View Post... I tilt the bike on the left side, few oil come out. Then change the gear shift few time and again tilt to left side, few more oil come out. Repet this step few times and slowly apply the kick starter few times. Then tilt the bike on the right side and hold it for a min, then again tilt to the left side, few more oil will come out. And then if you can put your bike somewhere on a slope ground where the front end will be in a lower position and the rear end at a higher ground and you can tilt on the left, right side then few more oil will come out, I don’t know why it happens but it works.
....
! I do some of the stuff mentioned by soumen like, tilt and turning the engine using kick starter, though not to that extend. Anyway oil cannot be removed completely without opening the engine.
BTW if you have to flush. I would recommend using only engine flush.. Petrol and other similar chemicals may harm sealants. Engine flush comes with cleaning agents as well as lubricants, but NOTE: You have to mix the engine flush with existing oil. Just drain some oil, add engine flush, let engine run for some time. This according to the engine flush I used. Instructions are provided on the cover of engine flush can.
The hitch is, there will still be some engine flush remaining in the engine
. So you need to change oil again soon to clear this.
