  • Modding my Pulsar 180 UG3

I own a 1 1/2 year old pulsar 180 ug3 which has done 9000kms on the odo, thats pretty less cos i havent used it much in the first 1 year.
6 months back i brought from my bike to my college hostel from my home.
After bringing it to the hostel it became a mode of public transport(it has been used very badly,i think u get the point),now the bike has lost its pickup and top speed, even the mileage is around 40 even though i rarerly rip the bike. The bike also feels very rough and produces lots of vibration even at speeds of 70kmph(is it due to bad choice of engine oil?)

Can anything be done now so that i can get the bike to normal conditions?
I also want to apply the following modifications:-
    -Full DC Setup
    -Projector Headlight similar to P220
    -K&N Air filter with upjetting
-Larger rear tyre with disc brake
-Clip-on handle bars exactly like the ones on the ug4

    My budget is 10K.
I'm a NOOB at bike modding so please help me out.........
Also suggest a good mechanic in Hyderabad who can do all this stuff and is also reliable

    TIA

        hey buddy..
My 2 cents, before going for any modifications, bring your bike to stock condition first.. I mean pickup and performance wise..

In pune castrol bike zone is pretty good.. there you can try finding one..

        some points:
        - try going for better engine oil. check engine oil thread for motul.
        - get spark plugs checked.. do they need change? NGK iridium are good one..
        - get a servicing done at a good service station (hyedrabad people might give a good reference..).. and then come back and try to understand what problems mechanic have suggested.. and we can brainstorm

        happy riding..
