Engine Oil Indicator in P 200

Hi guys

One of my friends is having P200 with him runnning at 21K now and I am posting it on his behalf.

There is a problem with the engine oil indicator in his bike.Even after he has changed the engine oil for his bike , the indicator came back just after around 1 km of ride.

Could you please suggest whats the issue and how can we proceed to rectify this issue.

The sensor might be faulty, who knows. If possible, ask him to get it checked.
