i had purchased a bike (yamaha gladiator) from the lotus yamaha, bangalore in september. when i went to collect the registration card (smart card) i found a mistake in it that the chassis no. & engine no. are both same. When i asked the showroom abt this then they told that they will send the RC card for correction & the mistake is of the RTO office. Still now i didnt got the RC card & when i ask the showroom abt this then they reply that the RC card verification will be done & this will take more time.

Now plz tell me what should i do so that i can get the RC card for my bike earlier?? Has anyone else faced this problem?? If yes what should be done in such a case??
NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Only two possible easy ways ...
      1) Go to the local RTO and make noise about it and complain that due to thier fault you cannot ride the bike legally
      2) Pray to God...

My cousin had the same problem and he was told that the sale documents and the road tax and registration receipts were sufficient proof of registration and ownership. So carry around with you a copy of all these documents and wait until the problem is sorted out.
