      Jets on Pulsar 220

Hey there, I should think that jet size is sufficient. Which K&N did you install.
The R1100 is recommended for a 220. If you have fitted the R1060 then I guess it would be advisable to change it to the R1100. Not an expert on the matter but the guru's can clarify here.

        no difference

R 1100 nad R 1060 are not different i structure, R 1100 comes pre oiled, and R 1060, comes with oil in separate pouch

silent rider read the data in this link, and then take your decision.
K&N air filter or OEM, why OEM is better

@psr- Don't automatically believe everything you read..
@prakhar- Both differ in size..the oiled and unoiled are two different types of each one..

As far as my personal experience goes, change to a bigger pilot jet first instead of the main jet since you won't be riding always at full throttle to completely utilise the bigger main jet's capabilities..Also, you might even go rich and hamper performance..In most of the cases, with stock engines the bigger main jet always remains under-utilised..go for a bigger pilot jet first..

This thread should be moved. This is the wrong place to post this. And there is a dedicated Air Filter thread where this matter has been discussed till death. Please use the search forum or look around in other sections before posting.

                Air filter

Dude, please compare the specs of the 2 filters on following links:
R-1100 - K&N Universal Air Filters, Universal Rubber Filter
R-1060 - K&N Universal Air Filters, Universal Rubber Filter

The RC1060 comes pre-oiled & the R1060 comes with a pouch of oil.

The only similarity between the 2 filters is its type: Round Tapered Universal Air filter. The similarity ends there.

@Thread starter - If you are confused due to the "conflicting" suggestions here, please find the dealer for K&N products in your city & visit him.

BTW I feel that the thread starter must have sorted the issue out as no post from him for a long time!!! Then why are we breaking our backs???

Why bigger jets immediately? Try adjusting the AFR, if you are still running lean, then switch to the next big size.
