  • Bike mechs / accessory shop in chennai

I'm planning to get my Machismo 350 repainted. Most probably to military green (and sand colored seat covers ). Does anyone know a good person. BTW, how much will it set me back by?

Also, I was wondering where can I find some good accessory shops in chennai. I could find only helmets near thousand lights.

Set you back on what? Money? But that isn't setting back.

I am also looking to redo the seats on my classic 500, to the seats in the picture. Seats on my classic 500 are very uncomfortable on long rides for both the driver and the pilion.

So i set out looking for seats something like the one in the picture. I forgot the name of the road but this one is opposite the Royapettah clock tower, and if you go down the road just before the police station (ice house police station i think) there are two seat makers. Both in the same building, the one on the 1st floor mass produce seat covers for various motorcycles except bullets, the one on the ground floor is an old man who does custom seats. I showed him the picture, and he is willing to do it, but he has never done anything like that before.

I also went & scanned the pudhupet area, but i am not willing to stop there anywhere without knowing which store i am looking for

So before i go down the R & D seat work with the old man, does anyone know a good seat maker for bullets? Preferably like the one in the picture?

TheNoobGeek, didn't mean to steal the thread from you, but finding a good seat maker will also help you since you asked for one as well. As for as motorcycle gear, its better you go to Bangalore or order online. I have searched high & low in chennai but nothing worthwhile.
But here are my suggestions if you still want to go the Chennai route, there are lot of helmet shops in GP road but you've to get past the left bender in the road, until then its all cars. Also in Adyar when you're coming from Madhya Kailash towards IIT, there is a shop called pounds something, they sell some bike gears but i heard they also sell lot of fakes and they're costly. So you might want to do your DD there.
