  • HID on cbz classic 2002

    hello mates

i am owning a hero honda cbz classic 2002.
and some days ago i fitted a 35w xenon HID kit to my cbz. so all of the stuff like relays and chargers with suitable wiring have been installed.. stock battery is also changed to 7 amp (UPS battery)... and now the problem starts

HID for some 5 days till the time new battery is not fully drained did worked awesomely.. but as the battery drained HID started creating problem.
actually the charging unit is charging @ rate of the normal stock 2 or 2.5 amp battery. as a result charging rate is inadequate as per the 7 amps battery...
though i have also installed a charger which is charging the new battery at much faster rate but is still inadequate.... so is der any more ways to increase the charging rate rather then coil rewinding becuse rewinding has it's own cons.i have heard off. so this according to me is the crux of problem.

BTW i have dis functioned meter bulbs and the normal rear light bulb so as to reduce the battery load....
    help me guys!!!

    thnx
    regards
    Jatin Rajpal

I guess you are talking about the rectifier. Try one thing, instead of charging the battery through the rectifier, give it the "live" connection and see.

Kindly clarify that's it's rectifier or not? Ask the mech, or post pictures of whole setup, I mean the wiring etc, related to charger.

What's "live" connection? CBZ is AC.

I guess its the disconnected AC wire directly to battery without bridge rectifier.

Classic CBZ stock wiring is 100% similar to Unicorn

Unground the coil and make it full wave, plug in a APE RR unit. Simple

guys it can possibly be the rectifier..
but i will get it clerified by my mech and let u know...
and yes he coverted it all directly from battery...
ie lights are working with the engine off......
