Have checked the carbs, jet, pilot & air screw adjustments & everything is good.
So what could be the reason? The mech tells me that the rings are mildly worn out & during the service he cleared up the carbon due to which this jerk happens. To explain this further, the idling is not a repeated tune & smooth, it behaves as if there's insufficient fuel & its gonna stop at any moment.
Solution provided was to mix 1.7 ounce instead of 1 ounce 2T oil & run for about 200-300 Kms & that should form the carbon back & will fix the problem.
My questions are...
1. Is the above statement true?
2. Can someone relate the mildly worn out rings to this jerk & unstable idling?
3. Can someone expect new rings wearing out (even though mildly) in about 7500 Km of run?
Could someone provide me a clear explanation? Thanks.
