From the glimpse I could catch of the Impulse's chain guard today, not a direct fit.

A few more more questions from my end.

    • How does the bike perform?
    • Are the chain lengths same?
    • Any idea about the weight difference?

About Inpulse's cover, i've no idea. It it isn't a direct fit, maybe i'll have to try an aftermartek one.
      • 1. I haven't noticed any considerable change in bike's performance(actually didn't got chance to rev it)
      • 2. Yes, the chain lengths are absolutely same.
      • 3. No idea about that. New new chain in thicker but i feel it will have far less weigth than the combined weight of stock chain+stock chaincover.

Thanks for the inputs. Will try this soon considering my chain has neared the end of its lifespan. Considering a Dazzler chain guard too.

Re: O ring chain for Cbz

sarav.sandhu, few quests for you, hope you'll answer those.

since the ratio is been changed and the chain became heavier, what you observed about following points?
              1. any increment in timings of 0-60?
              2. incremement in mileage?
              3. at what rpm bike cruises at 80kmph in top gear?
              4. any lack in innitial feeled while in traffic?

i am also planning the same mod on my 2008 Hunk as chain sprockets are at their end.
