[Help]: Installing yamaha performance kit on fazer
The performance kit is offered by Yamaha & are available at YASS & once you fit them your bike's warranty becomes void & the FFE is so loud that you're running the risk of cops catching you.
Could you be more specific as what suggestion you're looking?

Stock FZ16 is designed for road & company warrants the motorcycle on standard testing conditions which is on road usage pattern & the performance kits are designed for tracks & the motorcycle cannot be warrantied on anything on tracks. So once you fit them, they become void.

God!!! Why do you guys sound so pessimistic? I don't know whether its worth spending 40K or not, however these are the parts of perf mods
1. High lift cams that help push the rev meter all way upto 9K or 12K (not sure how much)
2. Bigger disc plates on the front
3. Free flow exhaust
4. Remapped ECU
Apart from these you get few more cosmetic & performance part that I'm not really sure whether it will be helpful (like bigger master cylinder for brakes & stainless steel hose)
And when Yamaha launched it, they clearly stated that this is to be used exclusively for racing purpose in a closed circuit only.
I'm really wondering how will rejetting the BS26 carbs help to equivalize the performance of high lift cam & FFE? Anyway, I hope you meant that rejetting to be done on the streets as the performance kits are meant for racing circuit.
