^^ Good luck with getting the duplicate issued!

Just asking, what is the procedure to club my 4wheeler license to a combined 2/4 wheeler license? I'm yet to have the 2 wheeler license (new rider) done.

I don't know how it works if you are from out of state! I am sure it is bigger headache. I guess you will have to go back to Shillong to get it re-issued. Else you pass the dumb tests that they give out to you.

Register an FIR. Take the copy of the same along with the License number to the Authority and ask for a duplicate. The fee is around Rs 150

Edit: An FIR would anyhow be required, to prevent misuse.

However, if you do not have a photo-copy, then he would need to re-apply for the same, or will he be issued a duplicate copy on the basis of an FIR or something?
