  • Help regarding engine head - Karizma

    Friends,

My zma-r is just 6 months old. Yesterday, when i went to fit a horn, the local mechanic observed that my engine head looks like it has been opened.

I have never given my bike to any local mechanic for service. My bike had not had any problems till now. Completed 4 free services, all from HH SVCs.

Please see the attached pic. Please check your bikes and let me know if you find anything unusual.

And if you do feel that my engine head has been opened, I think I am cheated by the SVC guys by delivering a faulty bike which they would have damaged pre-delivery.

Please check your bikes and please comment only after that. Please.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Are you sure they did not open it to adjust the tappets? Normally kept loose initially, then tightened after the first service, if any problem is faced. Might have done it without telling you as routine procedure. Check and confirm from the ASS.

And the head is fine, that is just the head cover! The head's not been touched, so don't worry.
