  • [Help]: Fuel pipe solution required

Hi guys, I have a P180 UG3 and its been 30 months so i want to change the fuel pipe (tank to carby). It has hardened. I bought a replacement, but the standard Pulsar pipe is short because i have a fuel lock installed. I think the standard cocks outlet points towards the back, but mine points towards the engine. So the pipe has to take a 90 deg turn needing more length.

I don't want the generic pipe sold loose because its diameter is lesser and it is a bit too rubbery and i dont trust it. I need a pipe that is atleast 210mm long. Please, if anyone could measure the length of your pipes with a measuring tape or a string, and let me know the bike, then i can buy its spare. Please help. Now im running with a crappy, lesser diameter pipe.

Why not a generic pipe for 5/10rs? I changed the fuel pipe my my old Caliber 115 with some roadside one, and it worked absolutely perfectly. You just need the clamps to fit the pipe tightly to the carb. I don't think the quality would differ that much in branded and local stuff for a simple thing like pipe!

I found two in different shops, but they were both lesser in inner diameter. So they are very difficult to fit and when they are forced they stretch to the point that they become white around the nozzle area. This indicates they are stretched beyond normal and they will probably crack there.

And the lower diameter may hinder fuel flow, but im not sure of this.
