    ZMA Stability Problem

    Hey Guys..am facing a weird problem with my ZMA

    The bike seems to drift left and right whenever i am riding at 60 or below.

    The moment i give a little bit of throttle the problem seems to vanish but comes back the moment i close it.

    I have tried the thing of keeping both hands from the handle bar while riding the bike at the mentioned speeds and the bike seems to go straight. So i guess the problem with the front fork can be ruled out.

    Could there be a problem with alignment of front alloy rim or the front tyre itself..?

    My bike is still in warranty...so guys kindly help..

      Check the steering head bearing for damage. It's the most likely cause.

        so shall i tell those guys the same thing..that the steering head bearing has been damaged?..is it the same thing as cone set?

          @OP: First, Inflate the front tyre to 25 psi. If it's less than the required amount(say 18-21 psi), there will be wobbling.
          Do check and revert.

              have you checked for any rim issues? also check the front and rear wheel bearings and above all check the swing arm, i used to have same problems with my splendor due to swing arm issue.

                other possible problem is front tyre.. how much it has run.
                i had similar issues on a old front tyre. resolved after getting a new one...

                  Check the tire pressure first.If the problem persists then check the tire at a reputed tire shop/dealer.After that also if it drifts then check the allignment and shocks many times inspite of having proper wheel balance and allignment the bike drifts because of shock absorbers

                    pressure seems correct..

                    the front tyre is a kings tubeless...it has 6000 kms on it..

                    the rear is an IRC Durotour tubeless..it has 3000 kms on it...


                    do the guys at the HH workshop..do the alignment of tyres also?

                        The issue was with cone set. Got it replaced.
